Inspire to try running her own business, which is from a completely traditional family, who gives value to her culture, heritage and beauty. She is pleasing for a peaceful atmosphere! So she wanted to create and present what she sort for rubbed off in a way that she wanted to have her own business, but it had to be a creative twist on what she was doing.

Athira’s first collection is Jatismara – a recreation of existence, a Theme derived from the Kerala art Mohiniyattam. Now it is banned from temple arts. She took some elements and created the feel of vintage. She took inspiration and worked on designs with rough sketches and possibilities. Later, she went with fabric sourcing and stitching accordingly. While being highly talented and no doubt contributes to Athira’s success, there are plenty of people with artistic gifts who struggle to make a living and have to give up on their dreams to pay the bills, beat the odds, and it is possible for other creative entrepreneurs to do, by applying some of her strategies.
