Son Ye-jin, Jeon Mi-do and Kim Ji-hyun join hands for upcoming Kdrama. See poster

South Korean actresses Son Ye-jin, Jeon Mi-do and Kim Ji-hyun will be seen together in the upcoming TV show 39 (literal title). The series will premiere in February 2022 on JTBC channel. While Son Ye-jin is known for her role in Crash Landing on You, Jeon Mi-do rose to fame with Hospital Playlist.

The storyline of 39 revolves around three friends who bonded while they were in high school and are now on the verge of turning 40. The drama will trace the journey of three 39-year-old women and how they face unforeseen circumstances.

The official Instagram handle of JTBC shared the poster of 39. The caption, which is in Korean roughly translates to, “We didn’t know we were so ‘friendly’ with each other. Son Ye-jin×Jeon Mido× Kim Ji-hyun unveiled the first poster. New drama First broadcast in February 2022.”

Son Ye-jin will be seen as Cha Mi-jo, who is the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Her character is warm and caring who grew up in a well to do family. Jeon Mi-do will play the role of Jung Chan-young, who aspired to be an actress but things didn’t work out and she became an acting teacher instead. She will often come across as harsh but doesn’t shy away from telling the truth. Kim Ji-hyun will be seen as Jang Joo-hee. She works as a cosmetics manager at a department store and has never been in a romantic relationship.
